The oceanfront Bay Watch Resort is located approximately two miles from Barefoot Landing and 15 miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport. This location is also two miles from Grand Prix Family Thrill Park and Alabama Theater, four miles from Colonial Mall and Tanger Outlet Center, six miles from Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, and seven miles from Carolina Opry. There is a watersports center 300 yards south of the resort for kayak and sailboat rentals, as well as parasailing and banana-boat arrangements. Hotel amenities include the ocean-side bistro, Sandtrap Lounge & Sports Bar, Flip Flops (a bar and grill on the 600-foot oceanfront pool deck), indoor pool and lazy river, outdoor pool, four four-person spa tubs, kids' pool, and fitness center.
