Walk out the door and you're on the way to the lifts, which bring you to trails just right for you-whether you're just getting started or you're ready to take on some of our toughest vertical challenges. The scenery, of course is free.   Bike The views from our hills and mountains will take your breath away. Think of the exercise as optional. Location Ascutney is just 6 miles from Exit 8 or 9 on Interstate 91. Only 2 hours from Hartford, 2 from Boston, 3 1/2 from Providence and 4 from NYC. It's also easily accessible by plane via the municipal airport in Lebannon, New Hampshire, and by train via Amtrack station in Windsor.
